Valencian gastronomy, recognized once again in the OAD guide

Two Valencian restaurants are among the 150 best in Europe
For eleven years, the OAD (Opinionated About Dining) gastronomic guide has published a list of the 150 best restaurants in Europe based on the experience and reviews of registered users. The 2024 update features five restaurants representing Valencian gastronomy, with La Salita and El Poblet joining Riff, La Sucursal, and Ricard Camarena.
El Poblet, reaching the 75th position thanks to the work of its chef, Luis Valls. Not surprisingly, it has two Michelin Stars and two Repsol Suns. The restaurant’s owner, Quique Dacosta, also appears on the list —in eighth place— with the restaurant he runs in Denia that bears his name.
The 118th position goes to La Salita, the restaurant of Begoña Rodrigo, which continues its rise after the Michelin star in 2019 and culminates a fantastic year after the three Suns awarded by the Repsol Guide or the recognition as the best vegetable chef in the world by the We’re Smart Green Guide.
