Lourdes Hernández, Russian Red's alter ego, would occasionally sing in the subway and seeing how her voice excited others, she decided to post some of her demos on MySpace. However, she never imagined that social media would open the doors to her to record her first album. Russian Red released her first album “I love your glasses” at the tender age of 22, and her works have been evolving ever since. The artist isn't afraid to experiment or covering musical classics.

Songs like "Cigarettes" or "Fuerteventura" are already classics on the national indie scene. And her new compositions are just as good. More than five years after ‘Karaoke‘ (2017), and 10 years after ‘Agent Cooper‘ (2014), the return of Russian Red is here. The first intro to Lourdes Hernández's next record is titled ‘This is un volcán‘ and has already racked up over 22 thousand views on YouTube, then came ‘No entiendo nada’, and we're expecting a new album soon.
