Two suggestions for Valentine's Day at the Casino

The CIRSA Casino in Valencia offers two highly appealing options to celebrate Valentine's Day. 

For starters, on the evenings of February 10, 11 and 14, the One Vlc restaurant will offer a special menu for food enthusiasts, paired with a careful selection of wines from the Chozas Carrascal Winery. 

The menu will start off with a welcome glass of Cava Unique, followed by a fine cream of free-range chicken and almonds with crispy dehydrated tomato paired with Las Tres Blanco. It will be followed by a squash stuffed with baby cuttlefish mousseline and prawns with saffron sauce, the prelude to a great main dish: Iberian pork shoulder cooked at low temperature, truffle sauce and wok of seasonal vegetables, both dishes paired with Las Ocho Tinto. Dessert will consist of a slab of chocolate with orange sauce and honey, served with a delicious sweet Muscat Domaine de Montahuc.

To the rhythm of Frank Sinatra

If you're looking for something livelier, you can move the celebration up to Saturday the 11th and choose the dinner show “Tribute to Frank Sinatra Love Edition”. After selling out twice, this great tribute to ‘The Voice’ is back, an exclusive production of Juanjo Navarro and the Babalú Swing Band for couples looking to spend a perfect evening together.

The menu for this occasion will start off with an almond foie cake and a cod and piquillo aioli brandade. The first dish will be a crispy ravioli stuffed with prawns and squid with Scarlet shrimp sauce, and the second, Iberian pork cooked at low temperature and potato gratin and Emmental cheese with a Muscat reduction. The icing on the cake will be a creamy banana with dulce de leche and vanilla sauce. The dinner will be served Juan de Juanes, D.O. Valencia and Madame Bobalú, D.O. Valencia wines.
