An entrepreneurial ecosystem with the highest growth in Spain

Valencia is the city with the most startups per capita in the country, leading both Barcelona and Madrid. This innovative, entrepreneurial ecosystem is among Europe’s most dynamic and thriving spaces, especially in the field of new technologies and such processes and methods as big data, machine learning, artificial intelligence and e-commerce.

The fact is, the city attracts entrepreneurs from all over the world, catalyses foreign talent, and fosters collaboration and business creation. It is the ideal place to present a startup idea to the top accelerators. On this list, Spain's top ten includes four Valencian organizations: DemiumStartupsPlug and PlayLanzadera y Climate-KicAccelerator.

Additionally, accelerators headquartered in Silicon Valley have recently set up shop in Spain, including Founder Institute València, which has seen great business and job creation potential, and Keiretsu Forum Spain, the major network of private angel investors which has just established itself in Valencia.

In addition to attracting businesses, tourists, entrepreneurs and researchers from different parts of the world, 9% of Spain’s investors are concentrated in Valencia, a very enticing figure for any entrepreneur looking to launch a project. This means that the city attracts innovation, entrepreneurship and foreign investment.
