Valencian painting exhibition at the CCCC
Categories: exhibitions.
Explore the connection between art, abstraction and technology in Valencian paintings.
Until May 4, 2025, you can enjoy “DECONSTRUCTING ABSTRACTION. Valencian Painting (1970-2024)”, a fascinating exhibition that explores this artistic movement from its roots.
That’s right, you’re in for a journey through more than 50 years of abstract art from the Valencian Community region, showing you how painting has changed, morphed and challenged its own limits over the last half-century.
The exhibition highlights the struggle between tradition and innovation. It shows what has been and what is to come with the reinvention of art and the arrival of technology and digital tools.
Keep an eye out, though, because the exhibition not only includes works of Valencian abstract painting, but also features new approaches, reinterpretations and dialogues between generations of artists who have managed to escape closed structures to explore the abstract.
Come to the CCCC and delve into the deconstruction of Valencian abstract art!
