Christmas markets

Handicrafts, gastronomy, toys and fashion share space at the Christmas markets that crowd the streets of Valencia every holiday season. The place to find truly special gifts.  

If you are looking for artisanal items to give ‘local’ or take them home with you, stop by the Craft Fair (Feria de Artesanía), located in Plaza de la Reina this year (24th November to 7th January; 10.30am to 2.00pm and 4.30pm to 9.00 pm; open morning hours only on 24 and 31st December; open until midnight on 5th January). From December 13th to January 6th.

The City of Arts and Sciences returns with its classic Christmas market filled with special gifts; a wide range of culinary offerings provided by food trucks; and demonstrations of traditional trades, including luthier, glassmaker, ceramicist, carpenter and carver.  

Christmas and Mercado de Reyes, located between Calle Hospital and Avenida del Oeste. This market is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., extending its hours until 2:00 a.m. on December 24 and until 5:00 a.m. on January 5 for the arrival of the Three Wise Men.

The popular Mercado de Reyes returns to the surroundings of the Cabanyal Market for last-minute gifts on January 2, 4, and 5. It will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on January 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

To avoid the commonplace and find unconventional gifts, Tapinería Market is the place for you. Its vendors will host their own Christmas market, Ho, ho, ho, from December 19th to January 5th.  

Come and discover unique products from local trade. From December 15th to January 13th, Coolmarket will be held, a market located at 52 Cirilo Amorós Street, featuring exclusive Valencian fashion and accessory brands. Open every day from 10:30 am to 9:00 pm, except on December 24th, 31st, and January 7th, when the schedule will be from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm. The market will be closed to the public on Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Epiphany (Three Kings' Day).

Valencia Christmas Market 

Circus shows, ice skating, food trucks, and artisan gastronomy: the Valencia Christmas Market is, above all, an authentic Christmas experience. From December 21st to January 5th.

Located at the sports area of Colegio San Antonio Abad and behind Teatro la PlaZeta, the only thing missing to enjoy a Christmas in pure New York style will be the snow. And all of this without leaving the city of València!
