Valencia's Three Kings parade
Categories: Christmas.
TOURISTIC AREA: Historical center
The route will run from Paseo de la Alameda to Plaza del Ayuntamiento
As is tradition in Valencia, the Three Wise Men will arrive by boat at La Marina around 4:30 p.m of January 5th. Later, from 5:30 p.m, they will begin a route from Paseo de la Alameda to the Town Hall Square.
Thus, Melchior, Gaspar, and Balthazar will stay true to the tradition of the most special night of the year for boys and girls, walking alongside their entourages through the city streets. The Three Kings' floats will start moving, and excitement will be palpable in the air.
The parade route goes through Paseo de la Alameda, the Rita Barberá Flowers Bridge, Navarro Reverter, the Puerta del Mar, Calle de la Paz, and San Vicente, ending in the Town Hall Square. There, in front of the Town Hall balcony, a nativity scene of natural size awaits, and the Kings will pause to adore the Child. Afterward, they will enter the Crystal Hall of the Town Hall for a public reception with the little ones who come to deliver their letters or see their majesties.
Find your spot to experience the most magical moment of the holidays.
