San Silvestre fun run through the center of Valencia

On December 30th, the San Silvestre fun run will be held in Valencia, and in many other places around the world. Although the Feast Day is the 31st, Valencia always holds the run the day before. 

Relax, you don't have to be an elite athlete to participate. The route is 5,000 meters long and is intended for people of all ages and fitness levels.

Interesting facts to help you decide:
•    It will start at 8:00 PM at Xàtiva Street No. 2, will go through the entire historical center, and the finish line is located in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. 
•    There is a time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes to finish it.
•    400 numbers are reserved for the serious competitors, and a further 15,000 are distributed in the non-competitive race for those who want to have fun. 

And speaking of having fun, if you want to stay 100% true to tradition, get yourself a costume.

Registrations for the competitive category (400 bibs) can only be done at the S.D Correcaminos offices (Arzobispo Fabián y Fuero Street 14), from December 12th to December 27th, 2023, from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM and from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

For the non-competitive category (15,000 bibs), registrations will be carried out at the sports sections of El Corte Inglés stores until December 30th or while supplies last.

The registration fee for both categories will be one euro, a charitable amount that will be fully donated to the La Fe Health Research Institute for the study of rare diseases. El Corte Inglés will provide, along with the bib, an accreditation bracelet.

If you've never taken part, you have to! And if it's not your first time, you'll no doubt want to run it again for the great atmosphere.
