URBAN FESTIVALS OF VALÈNCIA
In recent years, the city’s fusion of cultures has made way to a new eclectic variety of festivals, from the classical to the independent. The Tercera Setmana and Cabanyal Intim theatre line-ups are especially worthy of mention, whilst renowned cinema festivities include Cinema Jove, Mostra de València-Cinema del Mediterrani and the International Short-Film Festival La Cabina. The multidisciplinary València Intramurs arts festival is aimed at promoting the cultural potential of the old part of the city; meanwhile, Festival 10 Sentidos showcases the work of disabled artists. València also plays host to annual photography fairs such as World Press Photo.
