Sala L'Horta

L’Horta Theatre is a company that has been on the theatre scene for 41 years, during which time it has produced more than 30 shows for children and adults. It has produced more than 1,800 theatre performances and has established a know-how that has defined our artistic approach, as well as our own company culture. Accordingly, shows at L’Horta Theatre have a particular style that differentiates them and identifies them as our own, which makes audiences recognise them as a “product” of our company. The responsibility for this falls on Roberto García, who has been the company’s artistic director for the last ten years.

One of our fundamental characteristics has been support from contemporary Spanish authors. All of the shows produced by l’Horta Theatre have been written by contemporary authors. Playwrights who work with us include Ferran Torrent, Carles Alberola, Pascual Alapont, Rodolf Sirera, Eduardo Zamanillo, Ximo Llorens, Manolo Molins, Juan Pablo Mendiola, Roberto García, Pau Pons, Sergio Martínez and more.

Although it has not stopped producing shows for adults, l’Horta Theatre has been particularly focusing on theatre for children in recent years.
