Concha Piquer Museum-Home
Ruaya 23, 46009 - València
TOURISTIC AREA: Outskirts
The house is a rectangular construction with windows and balconies facing the calle de Ruaya and calle de la Pepita. The ground floor has a permanent exhibition of graphic documentation, personal objects, records and material relating to the artistic career of Concha Piquer. The original staircase gives access to the upper floor where there is a collection of figurines and designs relating to the rich and varied wardrobe of the singer and actress. From there it is possible to enter the old living quarters where the artist was born; her parents bedroom, dining room, kitchen and small living room where her mother worked as a seamstress - all recreating the atmosphere and ambience of the house of a humble working class family.
