In the heart of the city, Our most historic store, cataloged as an emblematic shop of the city, with more than 120 years of history, the oldest place in Valencia open to the public today. It is located in front of the main door of the Central Market and next to the Lonja de Valencia. The place where we find ourselves was one of the oldest and most unique pharmacies in the city of Valencia, the Cañizares pharmacy. We have adapted our store to the structures and furniture of the old pharmacy, respecting all its elements. The shelves, shelves and counters, in addition to showing off their great artisan beauty, act as showcases for “delicatessen” products. Everything is covered by the dome of the extraordinary 1880 coffered ceiling, made of marvelous earthenware, painted by Francisco Dasí Ortega (Valencia 1834-1886), undoubtedly the most outstanding painter-ceramicist of the 19th century.
