Toilets:

No visual aide to indicate free or occupied. No gap underneath the cubicle door.

Car park:

Two reserved public parking spaces, 220x450 cm. With vertical and horizontal signage: one in Paseo Alameda, 280 m away, and the other in Calle Artes Gráficas, 170 m away. With an accessible, evenly paved route to the garden. Approach area more than 120 cm on the right and left sides. Public parking spaces reserved in the Severo Ochoa carpark, located in Calle Profesor Dr Severo Ochoa, s/n. Accessible route to the garden.

Access:

There are five entrances, some with an 18 cm high stone doorstep and others with ramps with no handrail, 2.5%, 150-400 cm long and 120-400 cm wide and a smooth, slip-resistant paving.

Mobility:

Within the garden is the Natural Science Museum, the Palacio del Real Visitor's Centre and the ruins of the Palacio del Real. It also has children's parks, skating rinks, traffic and road education park and three bar kiosks. Route with changes in level served by ramps with no handrails and variable dimensions, access sometimes obstructed by flower pot stands. Compacted earth paving on entire surface and concrete on the main walkways. Edged with borders 2 cm high. No handrail. 120 cm minimum clear width. Occasionally narrowing to 93 cm. Rest areas with benches every 10 m approx. Furniture does not encroach on the route.

Toilets:

There is an adapted cubicle in the men's toilet and another one in the women's toilet, with an inaccessible approach. Signage on door with standardised symbol. Slip-resistant floor surface. Toilet door with a change in level, with a handle opening inward, and 80 cm clear width. No spring hinge. There is a space in front of and behind the door of 150 cm or more. Sliding cubicle door with C-type doorknob, with 80 cm clear width. Washbasin 83 cm high, no pedestal, with a clear space underneath 65 cm high and 60 cm deep. Pressure tap. Height of the lower edge of the upright mirror, 100 cm. Approach to the toilet, 34 cm wide on the right side, 108 cm on the left side and 63 cm in front. Toilet seat height, 40 cm. There are two folding grab bars on both sides, both at a height of 70 cm. Distance between grab bars, 67 cm. No alarm system inside the cubicle.
