"Wings for Life World Run" charity race in Valencia

Join us for a unique running event in Valencia.
On 4 May 2025, Valencia will be the venue for a very special event: the "Wings for Life World Run", where the aim is to outrun the virtual Catcher Car.
Yes, you heard right.
You will start running at 1pm along the old Turia riverbed with no finish line in sight, just trying to avoid being caught by the car chasing you.
It will leave a little later, at 1:30 pm, and will gradually increase its speed (from 14 km/h) until it catches up with you.
And when it does, you will know that you have given your best for a great cause.
We don't just run for fun: 100% of the proceeds from your race bib will go towards research into a cure for spinal cord injuries.
It will be a 5 km course adapted and designed so that everyone can compete, both runners and wheelchair users.
All you have to do to participate is register and turn up on 4 May with your batteries fully charged at the Puente de las Flores.
