Sculptures by Leiko Ikemura at the City of Arts and Sciences

Categories: exhibitions.

TOURISTIC AREA: City of Arts and Alameda

The City of Arts and Sciences is currently staging the exhibition "Here we are", by the Japanese sculptor Leiko Ikemura. Until 27th February 2022, the public will be able to see the exhibition, which is on display next to the Hemisfèric (south lake).

The large-format sculptures can be seen - free of charge! Take the opportunity to visit the exhibition and you will see how the pieces seem to float on water. Leiko Ikemura's intention is to raise awareness of the connection between humans and nature.

"Here we are" is Ikemura's most important exhibition in Spain so far. Of special interest is the sculpture "Usagi Greeting", which represents a sacred hare, the mother of all existences: you are going to love it!

Take this opportunity to see quality urban art, in the unique setting of the City of Arts and Sciences. We look forward to seeing you!
