The opera season gets underway at Les Arts with Jules Massenet's "Manon"!
See "Manon" at Les Arts from the 3rd to the 15th of October 2024.
This opera classic, set in the Roaring Twenties and directed by Vincent Huguet, is divided into 5 acts and tells a story in which the star of the show is torn between love and ambition, for Manon seeks a life of luxury and pleasure.
Will that lead to decisions that end in tragedy?
The production features an all-star cast with Lisette Oropesa as Manon, dazzling with her elegance and technique, Charles Castronovo as Des Grieux and baritone Carles Pachon as Lescaut.
And the staging promises to be shine even brighter, with a modern approach and opulent scenery and costumes.
