The Meat Carnival Festival is back

Categories: Gastronomy.

TOURISTIC AREA: Sea towns, Marina and beaches

Return to Valencia for the country's largest grill and meat festival, from May 23 to June 2, 2024.

The esplanade of the old Grao station in Valencia will once again become the home of Spain's largest meat and grill festival, a celebration dedicated to ancient cooking techniques.

It will take place over two weekends — from Thursday to Sunday — from May 23 to June 2.

At the festival, you can savor a variety of exquisite cuts, perfectly cooked, at more than 20 different stalls offering up to 50 different gastronomic proposals.

Honeyed ribs, Ternasco de Aragón, picanha, aged entrecote, and Angus burgers are just some of the offerings.

There will also be different tasting menus for the most enthusiastic foodies.

And while the star of the show is the meat, there will be delicious starters and sides such as potatoes, grandma's croquettes, grilled pineapple, and Argentine empanadas. Of course, a careful selection of desserts like crepes, mille-feuille, artisanal ice creams, and alfajores will also be available.

Besides filling your stomach, you can also participate in contests, games, and activities for all ages.

The entrance fee is €6; it includes a drink, a reusable event glass, and an access wristband. Children under 12 can attend for free without a drink included.

Excited? Then come and enjoy meat, meat, and more meat at the Meat Carnival.
