Bring back the excitement of the Fallas festival with the mascletà on 4 May in Valencia.
Did you think that the cremà was the end of the noise? No way!
This year the Fallas festival is not giving up and the gunpowder is once again exploding across the Valencia sky in the middle of spring.
As March was a wet March and left us wanting more, the city made up for it by celebrating as it should: with noise, emotion and the Plaza del Ayuntamiento packed to the rafters.
When the gunpowder is delayed, the desire is multiplied.
And watch out, because the first mascletà is already here: it will be on 4 May at 2 pm by Pirotecnia Pibierzo.
Yes, on Mother's Day in Spain, to celebrate with a bang, literally.
The other two will be on 11 May and 22 June.
Put on your sunglasses, grab a seat and feel the ground tremble beyond the Fallas.
