“La Bohème”, Puccini's masterpiece, is coming to Les Arts
Categories: music, show.
TOURISTIC AREA: City of Arts and Alameda
From December 9 to 23, Les Arts presents the thrilling and successful production of Giacomo Puccini's 'La Bohème', with Davide Livermore as stage director and James Gaffigan conducting.
This opera tells the story of a group of young artists in Paris in the 1830s.
The protagonists are four bohemians who live together in a cold attic they call home, between the walls of which they share anecdotes, friendship, dreams and, of course, lovers.
The work focuses essentially on the romance between the dressmaker Mimì, played by Italian soprano Federica Lombardi, and the poet Rodolfo, brought to life by Albanian tenor Saimir Pirgu.
"La Bohème" is a nostalgic journey to the romantic years of the early 19th century, a bohemian work that battles between life for art and the art of living, a journey through emotions, a celebration of life and death.
