The IVAM celebrates its 35th anniversary with the exhibit “Making a Landscape”
Categories: exhibitions.
The "Making a Landscape" exhibit brings together works from 33 artists in its collection, from 1930 to the present
You can now visit the "Making a Landscape" exhibit at the IVAM, which features more than 2,000 works from the museum's holdings, although this is just a sneak peek into what 2024 has in store for its 35th anniversary.
The show not only commemorates the milestone, it also seeks to shine a light on the IVAM's collection.
There are seven rooms covering topics such as landscapes, territory and belonging, presenting emblematic works along with new acquisitions, such as Cecilia Vicuña's "Quipu quemado".
Various activities are also being organized to celebrate the anniversary, including the Niño de Elche concert and the set by DJ Detweiler, performances like Mar Reykjavik's, sonic creations like the one by Laura Ramírez as part of the "Making a Landscape" collection, and special visits by Pedro G. Romero and Rafa Barber, among others.
Come and celebrate IVAM's 35th anniversary by exploring the richness of its collection, and take part in exciting cultural activities!
