Environmental Guided Tour of L'Albufera Natural Park

As part of the European Green Capital 2024 and the Great Fair of Valencia, the Valencia City Council has organized a guided tour for all audiences to connect with nature and get to know the L'Albufera Natural Park up close, one of Valencia's most valuable natural treasures.

It is one of the most important and representative ecosystems of the Valencian Community. This natural area, with its impressive biological diversity, is a perfect example of Valencia's commitment to sustainability and environmental conservation, values that have led it to be designated the European Green Capital 2024. Participating in this activity is an excellent way to connect with nature, learn about the importance of protecting our natural resources, and enjoy the unique beauty of L'Albufera.
 

Scheduled Activities:

1. Departure by Minibus:
   - Departure from Valencia to the Gola de Pujol Pier.
   - During the trip, an environmental educator will provide a detailed description of the L'Albufera Natural Park, highlighting its ecological importance and biodiversity.

2. Guided Circular Environmental Itinerary:
   - Once at the Gola de Pujol, visitors who wish can participate in a guided tour of the surroundings.
   - The guide will explain the natural values of the environment, as well as the characteristic flora and fauna of L'Albufera.

3. Boat Ride:
   - After the guided itinerary, a boat ride will be offered through L'Albufera, allowing participants to enjoy the beauty of the landscape at sunset.

4. Minibus Return:
   - Return to Valencia after the boat ride.

The explanations throughout the activity will be provided in both Spanish and Valencian, ensuring complete understanding for all participants.

Registration and Participation:

To participate in this free activity, it is necessary to complete the registration form available here.

Participants will be selected in order of registration until all available places are filled. A waiting list will be created to cover possible cancellations. Selected participants will be notified by email and must confirm their attendance. In case of no response, an attempt will be made to contact them by phone. If contact is not achieved, the next person on the waiting list will be contacted.
If any selected person cannot attend, they are requested to notify in advance to offer their place to another person on the waiting list.
