Come see the anthological exhibit of Pepe Gimeno

"Dialogues between art and design" is the name of the exhibit that you can enjoy at the Bancaja Foundation from December 16 to February 10, 2023.

What Gimeno conveys in this sample of his work is based on his experience from the 1970s to the present.

It is difficult for the artist not to reflect in his works part of his inspirations, such as the pop art of Warhol, Lichtenstein, Brancusi and Kandinsky.

The artist's experience, together with his graphic and plastic production, emphasize his free artistic practice, which makes the work he has been doing for a decade now, with new creations made from waste materials, all the more notable.

The Valencian artist uses the graphic/plastic arts in such a way that they feed off one another, because for Gimeno, art is a "representation with words or external signs of a thought, an idea, a feeling".
