Mafalda and Quino disembark at the port with their unique humour
Categories: exhibitions.
TOURISTIC AREA: Sea towns, Marina and beaches
The Port of Valencia says goodbye to 2021 and welcomes in 2022 with Mafalda's humour and wisecracks. The Reloj Building is hosting a show featuring 200 cartoons drawn by the master Quino, the character's creator.
Visitors will be able to view oversized drawings by Quino, who died in 2020. The artist was celebrated throughout the world, transcending the borders of his native country, Argentina, with an excellent combination of intelligence and laughter.
The cartoons, created between 1964 and 1973, depict more than just Mafalda. Felipe, Susanita and Manolito also make an appearance in the amusing and profound reflections of the girl who hates soup.
Admission to the Mafalda and Quino exhibition is free.
Visit the Reloj Building and get ready to ring out 2021 (or start 2022) in good humour.
